ROLE OVERVIEW

The Cigna Group is searching for a CISO to lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy for a global health services company with $200B+ in annual revenue. The CISO will own security across Cigna's health insurance, pharmacy benefits (Express Scripts), and international health businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy across Cigna's health, pharmacy, and international divisions
Manage security for 170 million+ customer health records and sensitive PHI data
Oversee HIPAA, HITRUST, and state-level health data privacy compliance programs
Lead incident response and business continuity planning for critical health infrastructure
Partner with CIO and CTO on digital transformation security architecture
Manage relationships with HHS, OCR, and state insurance regulators on cybersecurity matters

REQUIREMENTS

12+ years of cybersecurity leadership with healthcare or highly regulated industry experience
Deep knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and healthcare data security requirements
Prior CISO experience at a health insurer, hospital system, or large healthcare organization
Experience managing security for large-scale data environments with sensitive PII/PHI
Strong board-level communication and executive stakeholder management skills
CISSP, HCISPP, or equivalent certification required
